Achievement of a Level 2 qualification by age 19 (LPI21) (Former NI 79)

Abstract

The proportion of young people who were studying in a local authority area at academic age 15 who pass the level two threshold (i.e. achieve 100% of a level 2) by the end of the academic year in which they turn 19. Attainment of Level 2 equates to achievement of 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*-C or equivalent qualifications.
